Grand father of three arrested for stealing transformer cables in Lagos
Operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command in separate incidences Saturday arrested two suspects over the vandalisation of cable and transformer. The suspects, Oladele Elegbede, 54 and Andrew Onoriode 25, were arrested early in the morning by the operatives in Dopemu and Alausa area of the State with vandalised cable and transformer earth.

The police in Osun state have arrested three friends who met at the Ile-Ife prison and after their exit, came together to form an armed robbery gang. UK deports 35 Nigerians for immigration offences
35 Nigerians comprising 30 males and five females, were today deported by the government of the United Kingdom for committing immigration-related offences. The deported Nigerians arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMlA) Lagos in a chartered Titanic airways aircraft at about 5.50 a.m.

The corpse of the dead Courier was recovered from a septic where they had hidden him after killing him. His body has been deposited in the mortuary. Meanwhile the suspects are helping the Police and efforts are on to arrest others, fingered in the dastardly act.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Zaki M. Ahmed who led other Senior Police Officers to the scene is appealing to the public to always help the Police solve crimes by sharing useful Information with the Police, promising to flush out all criminal elements in the State.
