Life span of the present generation songs is about 3 months, but 'Jaga Jaga' is evergreen - Eedris Abdulkareem brags

Veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has spoken on the high rate of regular and meaningless songs populating the Nigerian Music Industry.
Speaking exclusively to LIB in an interview, the controversial rapper said:

'Music needs to have meaning and should be able to add value to the lives of people, not just about dance and shake booty. Any song that is strictly about dance and shake booty, the life span is about three to four months.'
'This is why we should be able to have classic songs. I dropped 'Jaga Jaga' 15 years ago and it's still there, it's evergreen.'
Eedris Abdulkareem who made his way into the music scene in 1996, is behind hit songs such as 'Jaga Jaga', 'Mr. Lecturer' and  'Letter to Mr. President' among many others.
