OYIGBO LGA PEACE AND SECURITY MEETING

The CTC Chairman of Oyigbo LGA Hon Dr Sunny Kanu met with all security agencies in the LGA , the representatives of the Muslim community , National Union of Road Transport Workers , the National Youth Council Oyigbo LGA,the Oyilga Youths Federation, Oyigbo Area Council of Chiefs and Eke Oyigbo Ultra Modern Market Traders Association over the prevailing clash by unknown hoodlums against the Hausas which led to the burning of two police vehicles and the death of a police officer .The meeting was timely and monumental as all the grey issues was discussed ,updates,appeals, applause and reliefs by all the stake
holders. The CTC Chairman warned trouble shooters , hoodlums and criminals to stay clear of the local government and directed that the security agencies will deal decisively with culprits as relief materials was presented to the representatives of the Muslim community for their displaced members . Those present includesthe Rep of the police Area Commander, two DPOs of Oyigbo urban and Afam police commands , the OC of the DSS Oyigbo LGA , OC immigration , OC Civil Defence Corps , Captain JTF Oyigbo LGA, the chairman Eke Oyigbo Ultra Modern Market , National Union of Road Transport Workers Oyigbo Express Junction and Oyigbo Motor Park , Rep of the Muslim and Hausa community, the President of the Oyila Youths Federation , the Rep of  National Youth council Oyigbo LGA.
