MTN Foundation fetes Southwest change agents

MTNMTN Foundation (MTNF) has feted the 36 nominators from the Southwest who recommended their communities for intervention projects in the Phase 1 of its What Can We Do Together (WCWDT) initiative at a well-attended event in Lagos.

Similar appreciation parties had held in Abuja to celebrate nominators from the northern region, Owerri for eastern and Port Harcourt for South-South nominators.

The Lagos lap, which held recently and was graced by the wife of the governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambole, represented Ms. Idowu Mohammed, formally marked the end of the fist phase of the programme, where 200 projects were successfully delivered in 200 communities across 200 councils in the 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The projects bordered on donation of transformers, boreholes, school furniture and household items to select orphanages.

Meanwhile, nominations for the phase two of the initiative, which is to focus on donations of transformers, boreholes, school furniture and medical supplies to community health care centres, had begun.
